This is Lindsay Cant's response to What are you skating towards in 2012?
My Own Dog
THIS YEAR I WOULD LIKE to get my own dog. My family likes dogs. My Dad likes his dog Billy so much I have seen him kiss him ten times in a row. My brother John and his wife, Carla have a great big dog named Sula that they love very much.
John is going to help me sign up to get a special dog called a companion dog. It would support me in my life living on my own. It would go everywhere with me. It would help me at work, around the house and be a good friend.
Dad, me and John have to go to a dog training course to find the right dog for me. I told everyone in my ‘circle’ about the dog. Everyone gives me lots of support.
John and I told my ‘circle’ my Mum and Dad can take a back seat so John will be the family member coming to my circle gatherings.
